If you need laptop security, the SecureIt Laptop Storage Cabinet can secure up to 18 laptops at one time in a single cabinet. Standard color of this laptop cabinet is black, and standard size is 64½ inches high, by 36" wide, and are sold under GSA contracting.

 

 

Networking Feature means preinstalled wires in cabinet and optional cooling fan:

The SecureIt Laptop Storage Cabinet is avaliable with networking. CAT5 and 6 cables run through the cabinet when built, so you can let laptops plug into the cable, and the cable can be wired through the cabinet, and then into your network router (which is also inside the laptop cabinet). An optional cooling fan is recommended when ordering your laptop cabinet with a network ready option. This helps ensure that your router and laptops stay up to room temperature and don't overheat. Overheating is one reason why a laptop and router can get ruined. Cables from Router then exit cabinet on the back from either the top left or right corner (specifiy when ordering). The cable that extends out of the back of the laptop storage cabinet is about 6 feet long in length.

 

Cable Managment for Networking

Our laptop storage cabinets are also built with bars or "arms" for cables to help manage them, in a secure way.The cable managment system lets the power cords, run to the outlets in the back of the cabinet, and lets networking cables access the laptop drawers easier.

 

Switch Platform Drawer for Networking

Drawers on the SecureIt Laptop Storage Cabinet enable users an option to use a drawer to store their networking routers. When you decide to order your laptop cabinet with a switch platform drawer, one drawer will be made to take wires from every other laptop drawer (whether it has a lid or not) to come in from behind this drawer and attach to the network router. Each switch drawer ordered will result in one laptop drawer removal. So if you order two switch platform drawers, you'll be able to store 16 laptops, instead of the standard 18 laptops.

 

Powered and non-powered options:

Powered or non-powered options give you a choice. You can order your SecureIt Laptop Storage Cabinet with powered drawers (which is what you store your laptops in). These are drawers that provide locking lids on them. Keep in mind, our locking laptop drawers can only fit up to a certain size laptop. The maximum width of laptop these drawers can fit is up to 14.75" wide. Each drawer comes eqiupped with a two outlet power jack/surge protector for when you need to charge your lapotps in the laptop storage cabinet (more about the below). Each laptop drawer/compartment comes with it's own key and lock, which helps makes our laptop cabinet a little more secure then just using one key per compartment. This way, the owner of each laptop has access to their own laptop, and nobody elses within the laptop cabinet.

 

We also sell the same laptop storage cabinet with all of those great features without the lids. These laptop drawers are mostly made for the bigger laptops that are over 14.75" wide and 3" high. These also come with a two outlet power strip.

 

Extra Storage

The SecureIt Laptop Storage Cabinet comes complete with a storage drawer that can hold anything you need for your laptops (ie; extra mice, privacy filters, carrying cases, etc.) . What makes this storage bin even better is the fact that you have an option to store all of your storage supplies at the botoom of our laptop cabinet, securely because of your option to have lockable lids also installed on in the extra storage compartment at the bottom of the laptop cabinet.

You can store your laptops and charge them at the same time with our charging features. A lot of customers always like the fact that they can store and charge their laptops, while keeping them secure, all at once. This makes it a great feature if you want to store and charge your laptops at night. And use them during the day, or some other sitaution where it makes it convienent to charge your laptop while they're inside our laptop storage cabinet.
